Staten Island (Under Construction)

We haven’t posted in a while and I wasn’t going to let that continue!

Dex X and I started wondering if people even wanted to play in a world too much like our own. Would they be turned off and say “I play games to get away from exactly this”. I always thought they would because you get to face those things with fists full of lightning. But that’s been my answer for years now and it no longer assures Dev X, I’ve been accused of Crying Lightning!

And this was the first brick in the stall wall. Because I couldn’t figure out a new answer we stopped working and Staten Island never got its paragraph summary, like Brooklyn and Bronx did. There’s Queens and Manhattan as well but Staten was next on deck. We already have what’s happening on Staten Island. It’s going through a rebuild to distinguish itself from the rest of the city. Megastructure Zero; A prototype for all future cities, stands at 30 to 50 stories tall, takes up a quarter to half the Island of Staten and is Still under construction.

Parts have been completed, orders not so much but people have already moved into both. With solar panels, wave generates, several Micro-reactors, Maglev elevators(travels vertical and horizontal), roof mounted landing strips, wet and retractable dry docks; it truly could be the city of the future. But if you haven’t guessed, nothing we build is built to last. Corrupt borough president selling completed sections from under the residents noses, Ingrained criminal element, tribe-like vagabonds living in the incomplete zones; there’s a lot to cover.   We’ll post the paragraph sell later but for now, We’re alive and working on the stuff!
